CKSG three-phase series reactor

The dry-type iron-core series reactor is primarily used in low-voltage reactive power compensation cabinets in series with capacitors. In low-voltage networks with numerous rectifiers, converters, or other harmonic sources, high-order harmonics can severely affect the safe operation of transformers and other electrical equipment. When connected in series with capacitors, the reactor effectively absorbs harmonics, improves voltage waveform quality, enhances system power factor, and suppresses switching inrush currents and overvoltage during operation, providing reliable protection for capacitors and improving overall system stability.

Dry-Type Iron-Core Series Reactor

1.Application The dry-type iron-core series reactor is designed for low-voltage reactive power compensation cabinets, connected in series with capacitors. In low-voltage networks containing rectifiers, converters, or other harmonic sources, high-order harmonics can severely affect the safe operation of transformers and other electrical equipment. When connected in series with capacitors, the reactor effectively absorbs harmonics, improves voltage waveform quality, enhances system power factor, and suppresses inrush currents and switching overvoltages, providing reliable protection for capacitors and ensuring overall system stability.

2.Performance Parameters

  • Applicable voltage systems: 400V and 660V.
  • Reactance options: 1%, 6%, 7%, 12%, 13%, 14%.
  • Rated insulation withstand: 3 kV/min.
  • Temperature rise limits: Core ≤ 85K, coil ≤ 95K.
  • Noise level: ≤ 45 dB.
  • Continuous operation under rated frequency with harmonic current ≤ 1.35× rated current.
  • Reactance linearity: Ratio of reactance at 1.8× rated current to that at rated current ≥ 0.95.
  • Three-phase reactors: Difference between any two phase reactances ≤ ±3%.
  • Temperature class: HF (≥180°C).

5.Structural Features

  • Available in single-phase and three-phase versions, with dry-type iron core.
  • Core constructed from low-loss cold-rolled oriented silicon steel sheets; core columns divided into uniform small segments with epoxy-laminated glass cloth spacing, ensuring consistent air gaps during operation.
  • Coils wound with F-class enameled flat copper wire, tightly and evenly arranged; exterior left uncoated for aesthetics and enhanced heat dissipation.
  • Coil and core assembly undergoes pre-baking → vacuum impregnation → thermal curing with H-class insulating varnish, firmly bonding coil and core, reducing operating noise, and enabling safe, noiseless high-temperature operation.
  • Fasteners in the core column made of non-magnetic materials, resulting in high quality factor, low temperature rise, and efficient filtering performance.
  • Exposed parts treated for corrosion resistance; terminals use cold-pressed copper connectors.
  • Compared to similar domestic products, this reactor is compact, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing.

6.Operating Conditions

  • Altitude: ≤ 1000 meters.
  • Ambient temperature: -25°C to +45°C; relative humidity ≤ 90%.
  • Environment free of corrosive gases and flammable or explosive materials.
  • Ensure good ventilation; if installed inside cabinets, additional ventilation equipment is required.
